Like Justin Timberlake?

Be Honest
There was a time that if anyone asked me if I like Justin Timberlake, I would have snicked a little bit. I never was really sure which boy band he came from, actually, I'm still not sure. I have no idea what songs are associated with him. Nor do I know who his band mates were. I don't care.
However, strangely enough, I can now say I do like JT. Maybe you're thinking I started liking him from some of the movies he has been in? No, that's not it either.
I've seen some of the women he has dated and frankly, I've been amazed. I guessed that he must have something that is not on public display. But I guess the girls in Hollywood talk. Let's face it, he is not stunningly handsome. He's not built like a comic book hero. So why do I like him so much lately?
LIVE FROM NEW YORK, IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT! That's right,SNL. Have you ever seen him on that show. Usually I don't watch SNL re-runs, but tonight I saw that it was a re-run from just this past May, and the host was Justin Timberlake, musical guest, Lady Gaga.
In my opinion, and after watching SNL off and on for numerous years, this is going to be a classic. Justin does sing in a lot of the skits, and even Lady Gaga joins in, in a few of the skits. They are both great. And when Justin opened the show, explaining that he had to tell Lorne Michaels, that he would not sing in tonights show, (he ended up singing the explanation) I was a bit surprised to learn that Hey! He can really sing. Once again, as the show progressed, I came to see how talented JT really is. When he dresses up in a ridiculous costume and sings something like, "Bring it on down to liquor town," I can't help but to actually Laugh Out Loud! He wears this funny over-sized white hands and shoes, and the way he moves them and dances is hilarious! For a 'Teen Idol' he really doesn't mind making a fool of himself. It really is funny.
I saw this same episode when it first aired in May, and I thought it was funny at the time. But I had been drinking a bit of wine, so I didn't really know if maybe that was the reason I thought it was so funny. But the only thing I was drinking tonight was milk. And I am wide awake. The show just ended and I started felling a little bit guilty that I had never given him a chance in the past. I always just sort of wrote him off, because he came from a Boy Band. I'm kind of ashamed of myself. I don't think of myself as a person that holds much prejudices, but I guess I do. I (GASP) generalized. OMG. I try hard not to ever do that, and I did it without even knowing it.
Now I find myself wanting to see that new movie with Justin and Mila Kunis. I think its called "Friends with Benefits." Wasn't she Jackie from That 70's Show? Of course the movie looks predictable, (am I generalizing again?) but the commercials are starting to show that it may be a bit different. For instance the character of her mother looks really funny.
Again, I have a much different sense of humor than most women in my generation, but that's not who I'm writing to anyway. Girls my age never did like me much. Now we're women and I still don't care much. I can't help it. I get along great with guys. I'm a guys girl.
I LOVE Sports, in real life or on TV. It's me that insists on having TV's all over the house that are at least 50 inches. The one in the den is 73 inches. We had to get that when the Mavericks were in the Finals. (Oh yeah, when we WON the Finals, Baby!)
I like trash talkin'. Dirty jokes, including That's What She Said. Playing pool. Drinking - occasionally, and Sex. That's right. I said it. I Like Sex! Especially with Classic Rock in the back ground. Maybe that's why men like to read my novels. They are in the thriller genre, but as advertised, there is also plenty of hot steamy sex.
I also like shopping, decorating, flowers, jewelry, soap operas, and dancing. Anyway, I can now add Justin Timberlake to that list. I loved him on SNL and I can't wait to see the movie.
That's my opinion for tonight. Goodnight to all, and Drive Safely!

I'm a JT stan, to be quite honest and have been since I was 10. I try to hide it but it's no use. I like the points you make. If you really want to laugh, you should watch Motherlover on Hulu. It has everything I like, raunchy and smart comedy, 90s references, and lots of JT!
Yes, I've seen each JT episode at least once. My favorite probably being the Christmas 2006 episode with the May 09 a close second!

great hub! And yes, I (sorta) like him too. He recently accepted an invite to a military ball with a girl who is in the army, I think. And well played That's what she said jokes NEVER get old. I don't care what anyone says.
