Justin Bieber & Shaquille O'Neal?

I was never a big Shaquille O'Neal fan - I live in Dallas. But I have to say he has a really funny show on TV. He challenges the worlds best - at anything. He really is funny. I've seen him in a race car, in a spelling bee, and now...

Tonight has to be the funniest. He is going to sing and dance with Justin Bieber. Just the visual difference between the two is enough to get attention. I think Shaq is 7'1" and Justin - at 16 years old is 5'4". Shaq is very athletic and competitive, can look very mean when he wants to. Justin Bieber is a cutie pie. I would guess more of a Puppy Lover than a Fighter.

However watching the two of them together is really sweet. It's easy to see they have respect for each other. I can't help it. I am now a Shaq fan.

By the way, I have three sons. Oh how I wish I had a young daughter so I could join in on the Bieber Fever. He is the cutest thing to come along for young girls since Rob Lowe or Brad Pitt. I'm so happy to see that girls today finally have someone that is truly good looking and has some talent. The past 10 or so years I don't think there have been any real heart throbs. Maybe the last one was the middle brother of The Hansons? Remember MmmBop?

The poor young girls have had to fake it for years now, over the likes of The j- Oh wait, better not go there. And there was that curly headed kid, that just always seemed kind of feminine to me. And the Boy Bands? They may have had one or two kind of cute guys, but I couldn't stand the music long enough to see for sure.

And Justin ( we're on a first name basis now) is so clean cut and, well, dare I say normal looking? No dark eye liner, no tats, Just a real looking person. He doesn't have to act like a circus freak to get attention. He hasn't shot anyone or been shot. He doesn't sing songs about about killing the police or anyone else.

Justin is no Michael Jackson - but no one will Ever come close to Him, God rest his sweet soul. But tonight is the most I've really ever gotten to see him. The Kid is Good. According to his crew he's good at just about everything he does. And He CAN dance. I am really impressed.

At one point in tonights show they played basketball. I have to say that if Shaq came towards me, hitting the basketball so hard with that mean look on his face, I'm afraid I would either run or pass out. Not Justin. He dead-paned at the giant and gave him a fake out. And made the basket.That kid can shoot hoops too. Watch out boys of today, the bar is being raised, almost out of reach.

You may not have Bieber Fever yet, but give him ten minutes of you time, and you can't help it. He was really good on SNL too. The scene with Tina Fey as his teacher was outrageously great.

I'm not ready to rush out and buy his CD yet. But I'm willing to bet he will age like fine wine and get to that point where age doesn't matter. In the mean time, I'm so happy for the girls of today. You finally have a True Heart Throb out there!
